Pet Policy

Chestnut Woods is a pet friendly community that allows a maximum of 3 pets per-residence. Pet rent is $30 per-pet, per-month. There is a one-time pet fee of $300 per-household.  Pets such as fish, turtles, birds and hamsters are allowed and do not count towards the pet maximum per-residence. Fees only apply for cats and dogs. Fish tanks must not exceed 55 gallons.

 There are no weight restrictions but there are breed restrictions including, but not limited to the following breeds or mixes: German Shepherd, American Pit Bull Terrier, Husky, Doberman, Mastiff, Great Dane, Rottweiler, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Bulldog, Wolf Hybrids, Saint Bernard, Chow Chow, and Akita are prohibited.
